LOS LUNAS — The Goddard Rockets football team defeated the Los Lunas Tigers 28-23 Friday, Sept. 4, at Willie Chavez Athletic Field.

Goddard (1-2) returns to action against Chaparral at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Wool Bowl.

I am a sports reporter for the Roswell Tribune and serve with the New Mexico Local News Fellowship, which places emerging journalists in newsrooms across the state.
