As summer gives way to fall across New Mexico, anglers often find some of the year’s most productive fishing conditions. Good fishing conditions were reported this week at waters in northern New Mexico and Lincoln County.

In Albuquerque at Tingley Beach, fishing for catfish was slow using worms.
In Lincoln County at Alto Lake, trout fishing was good when using a combo of worms, Kastmasters and rainbow spinners. Fishing for largemouth bass was good when using rainbow spinners.
