Roswell girls’ soccer forward Emily Macias and Roswell football quarterback Andruw Fuentez won Athlete of the Week.

Here are this week’s nominees:

Jason Flamme, Goddard boys’ cross country

“Flamme has been leading the charge for the boys’ group and keeps improving each race,” Goddard cross country head coach Dewyane Roberts said.

Debrice Ashung, Roswell boys’ soccer forward

Ashung scored a team-high 32 goals through 15 games.

Olivia Riffell, Goddard volleyball outside hitter

Riffell recorded 187 kills through 15 games, which is second most on the team.

Christyanna Ruiz, Roswell girls’ cross country

“Ruiz is one of our top runners for the girls’ team,” Roswell cross country head coach Gabriel Vidal said.
