The Goddard Rockets football team lost to Lovington 20-14 in their season opener Friday, Aug. 21, at Wildcat Stadium.
The Rockets (0-1) will be back in action against Carlsbad (1-0) at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at the Wool Bowl.
