The Dexter Demons football team dominated New Mexico Military Institute 40-7 Friday, Sept. 25, at Colt Field.

Dexter (5-1) returns to action against the Texico Wolverines (4-1) in its District 4-2A opener at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Dexter Demon Field.

NMMI (0-5, 0-2 District 2-3A) next plays the Hope Christian Huskies (4-1, 1-1) at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, on the road.

My role is to cover all athletic programs at Goddard and Roswell high schools. The primary types of stories I write are season and game previews, season and game reviews, and feature stories.
