Goddard Rockets football blows past Chaparral Lobos

I am a sports reporter for the Roswell Tribune and serve with the New Mexico Local News Fellowship, which places emerging journalists in newsrooms across the state. My role is to cover all athletic programs at Goddard and Roswell high schools. The primary types of stories I write are season and game previews, season and game reviews, and feature stories. Prior to the Roswell Tribune, I interned for the Artesia Daily Press as a reporter from June to August 2025, and I am glad to be back working with El Rito Media. I am a 2026 graduate of New Mexico State University, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in journalism, with minors in strategic communications and social media management.
