The Dexter Demons defeated the Ruidoso Warriors 53-14 Friday, Sept. 4, at home.

Dexter (2-1) returns to the field against Santa Rosa at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, on the road.

I am a sports reporter for the Roswell Tribune and serve with the New Mexico Local News Fellowship, which places emerging journalists in newsrooms across the state. My role is to cover all athletic programs at Goddard and Roswell high schools. The primary types of stories I write are season and game previews, season and game reviews, and feature stories.
